Für unseren internationalen Kunden aus der Verpackungsindustrie mit weltweiten Standorten suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Termin im Rahmen der direkten Personalvermittlung einen engagierten und praxiserfahrenen Controller für den Bereich Financial-Controlling des Hamburger Standortes:
The local Financial Controller summarizes the overall responsibility of Finance and Controlling for the respective site. In detail this means
Manage all Finance and Controlling matters on site level
Fulfil all Group requirements concerning Finance and Controlling such as standards, procedures, timelines etc.
Represent all Finance and Controlling aspects within the local management team
Develop competencies and skills of all direct reports
Provide internal control systems to constantly monitor all financial risk areas
Perform investment control for strategic and operational projects on site level
Represent the site vs. external partners such as auditors, banks, tax advisors and tax authorities etc.
Provide Finance training, mainly for process managers on local level
Based on the above-mentioned responsibilities the Local Financial Controller
must actively contribute to business success and performance improvement by
• Initialising and leading local profitability improvement programs (cost savings, reduction of FE/WC)
• Achieving best practice procedures in reporting, performance analysis and any other finance/ controlling services
• Focussing on customer service
• Supporting the strategic and operational development of the site
• Leading other important projects in accordance with the local Plant General Manager's directives and objectives.
Specific Education Qualifications and Experience:
Ideally university degree or similar degree such as HWV
Additional degree in Finance/Treasury/Taxes desirable
Professional accreditation an asset - Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Management Accountant (CMA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Several years of practical experience as Finance Manager or Chief Accountant in an international environment
Experience in the manufacturing industry would be ideal
Fluent in spoken and written English & German
